Terms of Service
Last updated: May 29, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Lookora mobile application and the lookora.app website (collectively, “Lookora”). By using Lookora you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use Lookora.
1. What Lookora does
Lookora generates AI-rendered images that show how clothing might look on you, suggests outfits, and provides a curated catalog of garments from third-party brands. Lookora is not a retailer — you purchase clothing directly from the brand sites Lookora links to.
The catalog includes brands we do not have a formal partnership with. For these we surface only publicly-available product information (image, title, brand, price, retailer URL) as a discovery aid; the underlying product remains the property of the brand. We do not represent or imply endorsement by any brand we feature.
1a. Brand & retailer takedown policy
Brands or rightsholders who want a specific product, a brand-wide listing, or a specific image removed can submit a request via the takedown form on this site, or by email to legal@lookora.app. Verified requests are honoured within five business days. We also accept DMCA notices at the same address; please include the standard DMCA elements (identification of the work, the infringing material, contact info, good-faith statement, and signature).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age of consent in your country, whichever is higher) to use Lookora. By using Lookora you represent that you meet this requirement.
3. Your account & identifiers
Lookora does not require an account. An anonymous, per-install identifier is generated to manage your usage and prevent abuse of free credits. You are responsible for what happens on your device.
4. Your content
You retain all ownership of the photos and content you upload (“Your Content”). By using Lookora, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Your Content solely to provide the requested service (e.g. generate a try-on image or answer a chat). We do not use Your Content to train any AI model, and we delete it from our backend as soon as the response is returned.
You promise that Your Content does not:
- Depict another person without their explicit consent.
- Depict minors.
- Contain nudity, hateful content, threats, harassment, or anything that violates the law.
- Infringe anyone’s intellectual property or privacy rights.
We may refuse, remove, or refuse to process content that violates these rules.
5. AI output is approximate
Lookora uses generative AI to produce try-on images and styling advice. The output is an approximation, not a guarantee. AI-rendered images may not perfectly reflect fit, fabric drape, colour, scale, or proportion. Styling advice is a suggestion, not professional fashion or fit consulting. Treat Lookora’s output as inspiration, and make your own purchase decisions accordingly.
6. Subscriptions, free tier, and top-ups
Lookora offers a free tier with limited monthly try-ons, chat messages, and outfit suggestions. Paid subscriptions (“Pro”) and one-time top-up packs unlock additional usage and features.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period at the price displayed at purchase, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal.
- Cancellation: manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID’s Subscriptions settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Billing & refunds: all payments are processed by Apple. Refunds are handled by Apple per their policies — we cannot issue refunds directly. Request a refund via reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Top-ups: one-time purchases of additional try-on credits. These are not refundable once used and have no cash value.
7. Third-party content and links
The product catalog inside Lookora links to third-party brand websites. Lookora does not control those websites, their pricing, availability, sizing, or fulfilment. Any purchase you make on a third-party website is governed by that website’s terms — Lookora is not a party to the transaction.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of Lookora, except as permitted by law.
- Use Lookora to harass, impersonate, defame, or exploit anyone.
- Use Lookora to generate sexually explicit, hateful, or unlawful imagery.
- Attempt to overwhelm, probe, or interfere with our backend infrastructure.
- Use scrapers, bots, or automated tools to access our servers without explicit permission.
We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these rules.
9. Intellectual property
Lookora’s software, designs, branding, and curated outfit recipes are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in our intellectual property other than the right to use Lookora as intended.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
Lookora is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including without limitation merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that Lookora will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet your expectations.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lookora and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses — arising from your use of (or inability to use) Lookora. Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising from these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) US $50.
12. Termination
You can stop using Lookora at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate your access to Lookora at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or are using Lookora in a way that harms us or other users.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and, where significant, surfaced in-app. Continued use of Lookora after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Lookora’s operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country of residence grants you the right to use a local court.
